Meet the Author
Guyla Adams
Hello friend, I’m Guyla Adams, a storyteller, dreamer, and believer in everyday miracles. My journey as a writer began long before I ever typed a word. It started with imagination, curiosity, and the simple joy of watching how faith and wonder can turn even the smallest moments into something beautiful.
Writing has always been my way of connecting hearts. I love stories that lift people up, heal the spirit, and remind us that kindness still changes the world. My latest book, The Dragon of Happy Tails: Carter’s Quest, is one of those stories that came straight from the heart. It was born out of love for children who dream big and parents who believe in teaching through inspiration.
When I wrote Carter’s adventure, I imagined readers of every age stepping into a world where courage grows wings and faith becomes visible. I wanted it to be more than just a bedtime story. I wanted it to be a keepsake, something families could share for years and remember as the story that made them smile, think, and believe again.
My Inspiration
I draw inspiration from faith, family, and the little sparks of light that appear when we least expect them. Every story I write carries a message of hope because I truly believe the world needs stories that heal and inspire.
As a mother and grandmother, I’ve seen how storytelling can strengthen families, ignite imagination, and build character. Through The Dragon of Happy Tails, I wanted to give readers a safe, magical place to learn about courage, kindness, and the incredible strength that comes from love.
Beyond the Pages
When I’m not writing, you’ll probably find me in my garden, sketching story ideas, or spending time with family. I love watching how the smallest things in life can inspire the biggest stories—a child’s laughter, a shared prayer, or a quiet sunset.
Every book I write reflects faith, love, and the belief that we all have wings, even if we can’t always see them.
