The moment Carter discovers that shimmering dragon in a little thrift shop called Happy Tails, his life changes forever. Hello friend, I’m Guyla Adams, a storyteller, dreamer, and believer in everyday miracles. My journey as a writer began long before I ever typed a word. It started with imagination, curiosity, and the simple joy of watching how faith and wonder can turn even the smallest moments into something beautiful.
Writing has always been my way of connecting hearts. I love stories that lift people up, heal the spirit, and remind us that kindness still changes the world. My latest book, The Dragon of Happy Tails: Carter’s Quest, is one of those stories that came straight from the heart. It was born out of love for children who dream big and parents who believe in teaching through inspiration.

Why I Wrote It
I’ve always been fascinated by the way stories can heal and inspire. As a mother, grandmother, and dreamer, I’ve seen how faith and love can turn even the hardest days into miracles. Writing “The Dragon of Happy Tails” let me combine my two greatest passions: storytelling and soul-lifting messages for children who deserve to believe in their own strength.
